Horainox is a dedicated company to the stainless steel commerce.
Established in 1998, Horainox initiated its activity in a small warehouse situated in Maia.
After a few months, and due toa fast growth, constructed its first industrial unit in Soeiro - Trofa area.
In order to satisfy the market, and stimulated by a strong growth of Horainox, the second industrial unit was acquired in the same area.
In this unit we had the chance to place the first machine of stainless steel transformation of the company, the machine of grinding and covering sheets.
Continuing with a fast but supported growth, Horainox acquires a new unit in Porriño-Vigo. A bet on the Iberian market.
Using to advantage the biggest volume of sales, fruit of a quota getting bigger everytime in the national market and with the addition of the sales in Spain, Horainox launches itself more in the purchase of two industrial units. With an area of useful work getting bigger, the bet on a line of transversal sheet cut and plus another grinding machine, soon became a need, that quickly was materialized.
Having with these acquisitions satisfied great part of the of the market needs on the sheet level, the next step would have to be inevitably innovative and to fill a gap in the national market.
Using as an advantage the available space still, Horainox acquired two new machines. One to grind squared and rectangular pipes and another one for polishing the same ones.
Having the more complete center of services on a national level, an availability of enormous stock, supported in good conditions of logistics, Horainox is a strong and ideal partner for any type of stainless steel business.
